Journal of China Harbor Engineering

Journal of China Harbor Engineering is a scientific and technical journal focusing mainly on port and harbor engineering. Journal of China Harbor Engineering contains papers and topics on the new achievements and developments in the research, prospecting, design, construction, fabrication and management of port and harbor engineering, waterway and dredging engineering, waterway transport works and their related civil works as well as craft, mechanical and electrical engineering. The aim of the journal is to lay equal stress on both theories and practice, to disseminate both popular and advanced skills and technologies, and to take the practical engineering technologies as its main range of coverage. The journal pays attention to new arguments, new cognitions, new discoveries, and new methods in harbor construction, which is one of the most influential journals about water transportation in China.

Journal of China Harbor Engineering was first published in 1981. Being a monthly journal distributed both at home and abroad, Journal of China Harbor Engineering is sponsored by China Communications Construction Company Ltd., and executed by CCCC-Tianjin Port Engineering Institute Co. Ltd. The journal is among the source journals for Chinese S&T Papers Statistics and Analysis (Chinese S&T core journals) and one of the national core journals in Chinese language (The core Journals of China). The journal is one of the source journals included in the CD Edition of China’s Academic Journal and also the source journal for Data Base for Comprehensive Evaluation of China’s Academic Journals and Data Base for Scientific and Technical Journals in Chinese Language. The journal was honored as a Journal of Excellence by the Ministry of Communications of China in 1997 and has been successively rated as a Journal of Grade A by Tianjin Municipality.
