The principle parameters and the characteristics of the designs for the 50 t-50 m quayside container cranes are presented in the paper The crane incorporates double trapezoid box girders with the front stays fixed with eccentric bushes Rubber spacers are placed between the base of steel rails and the rail beams The front and rear girders are hinged with primary and auxiliary hinged structures in order to make sure that the trolley travels smoothly over the hinged joints in the girders with heavy loads at high speed
