文章介绍了作者随中港代表团在欧洲考察期间 ,对有关疏浚行业的仪器、设备 ,如德国 Immomar公司的SES- 96参量阵测深 /浅剖仪、 ARGU S公司的 ASM- 红外沉积动态检测仪和荷兰 STEMA公司开发的 Silas数字仪声学数据采集处理软件的功能、特点、适用范围进行了考察。阐述了上述仪器、设备在我国疏浚业的应用设想。

When the author went to Europe on a tour of investigation with the CHEC delegation, he made an investigation on the instruments and equipment used in the dredging industry, especially the performance, characteristics and scope of application of SES 96 parametric matrix bathymeter subbottom profiler, made by Immomar, and ASM Ⅳ infrared dynamic sediment measuring instrument, made by ARGUS,both in Germany, and SILAS degitized acoustical data acquisition and processing software made by STEMA in the Netherlands The author also presents his proposals for the use of the above instruments and equipment in the dredging industry in China
