本文从近年来国内外港口建设的发展与外部环境之间的联系 ,研究港口工程发展动向。世界经济的发展以国际贸易的迅速增加 ,全球经济一体化进程加速 ,知识经济时代的到来为特征 ,这三个方面都直接推动港口工程的发展 ,文章从这三个方面探讨两者的联系。在此基础上 ,分析世纪之交我国港口建设面临的机遇和挑战。

The development trend of port engineering is studied and analyzed on the basis of the relationship between the development of port construction and the external environment both at home and abroad The development of world economy is characterized by rapid growth of international trade, expedition of global economic integration ,and the forthcoming of the times of knowledge economy The above three aspects in the world economy are all directly promoting the development of port engineering The paper presents a discussion on the relationship between the development of the world economy and the development of port construction, on the basis of which,the opportunities and challenges facing port construction in China at the turn of the century are analyzed
