摘要：

本文就当前集装箱装卸运输的飞速发展，对我国现有轨距为１６０ｍ的第二代集装箱码头改用第四代大型装卸桥机的可行性进行了论证。并在天津港现有集装箱码头中得以实施，取得了成功，带来了巨大的经济与社会效益。结合我国当前的条件，此成果具有重要现实意义与推广价值。

The feasible demonstration on the replacement of the existing crane with 16.0m rail gauges by the fourth generation container crane adapted to the rapid development of container traffic is presented in this paper. The successful use of a large scale container transfer crane in the existing container terminal brought some significant economic and social benefits. Considering the present conditions in China, the aforesaid practical results will have an immediate significance and valuable popularization in China.
