This paper introduces the construction technology of rock socketed cast in situ piles for the second stage project of the Container Terminal of Yantian Port. An emphasis is laid on the construction of drilled rock socketed tilt piles, drilling equipment, offshore construction platform, the construction method of anchored bars inside the rock socketed piles, the treatment of the interface between the first layer and the second layer of the placed concrete, underwater concrete casting of tilt piles,handling of construction accident and quality defects and measures to be taken.
