长江口深水航道治理二期工程的某些结构物在一次寒潮大浪中发生了 1.6 m的沉降。为了探索地基发生过度沉降的原因 ,进行了动三轴试验 ,以研究地基土的强度弱化特性。试验结果表明 ,长江口软土在动荷载作用下可能发生很大的强度弱化。据此可以解释上部结构发生过度沉降的原因

Some structures in Phase Ⅱ of the Deep Waterway Regulation Project in the Changjiang River Estuary settled about 1.6 m during a cold wave storm.In order to explore the causes resulting in the over settlement of the foundation soil,dynamic triaxial tests were made to study the weakening characteristics of the soil.The results of the dynamic triaxial tests showed that the soft soil in the Changjiang River Estuary may lose its strength tremendously under the action of dynamic loading,which may explain the over settlement of the upper structures.
