京唐港斜坡式挡沙堤 ,用陆上推进法施工的“高胖堤”,反而比用水上法施工的“矮瘦堤”造价低。将堤顶“四脚空心方块”改为“改形方块”,实施“改形方块与陆上推进法相结合的工艺”,不但能使堤及时封顶 ,风损小 ,工期短 ,航道回淤小 ,更能适应堤的多次延伸调整

The construction of a "high but plump mole" proceeded from the land side cost less than a "short but slender mole" proceeded from offshore when a rubble mound sand arrester mole was built in Jingtang Port. The armour blocks were modified form "tetrapod hollow blocks" to "hollow square blocks" and the construction method was a procedure to combine the modified blocks with works proceeding from the land side. By so doing, the mole was timely completed with a short construction period, less wind caused loss, little siltation in the navigational channels and more adaptable to the extensions and changes of the mole.
