本文基于瑞典条分法 ,提出用遗传算法来分析结构地基整体稳定问题 ,克服了传统搜索算法容易陷入局部极值的缺点 ,通过工程实例论证了算法的优越性与高效性 ,具有一定的学术和实用价值

A new approach for global stability analysis of structures and foundations, in which the Genetic Algorithm is adopted, is presented on the basis of slice method. The corresponding program is established and a real engineering example has been calculated, and this method is compared with other searching methods,which proved the unmatchable superiority and high efficiency of the method. The presentation of Genetic Algorithm in civil engineering field is undoubtedly of great value.
