The paper presents the use of the technique of moving Bailey for casting concrete in situ section by section in the construction of the continuous box girders with a span of 20 meters for the northern approach bridge of Zhaoqing Bridge in Guangdong, China. An analysis of the technique is also made on the basis of the experience from engineering practice.
