A new technology was developed successfully during the rehabilitation of Shuaiba Oil Pier in Kuwait, whereby raking piles were driven in position with a hoisted hammber cage. The paper presents the technology of installing raking piles with a hoisted hammer cage, the equipment employed for the installation and the process of pile driving.
