本文记述了在巴基斯坦卡拉奇港五号油码头的桩工,包括打桩和拉桩试验的情况。这是我们第一次在南亚打桩;也是第一次在海上做斜桩的拉桩试验;还是第一次在按照德国规范实施条件下打桩和试桩。与我们多年建港中的做法及经验有些不同,本文提出了桩工方面的几个问题并予以讨论。

Pihng work for Oil Pier V in Karachi Port,Pakistan,including pile-driving and pull-out tests,is described in the pa- per.It was the first time for First Navigational Engineering Bureau(FNEB)to carry out piling work in South Asia and to carry out piling work and pull-out tests in line with German standards and codes of practice,and also the first time for FNEB to carry out pull-out tests for raking piles on the sea.The practice and experience gained in the piling work at Oil Pier V is to some extent different from that acquired for many years in port construction works executed by FNEB. Some problems in the piling work and discussions thereof are presented in the paper.
