Abstract：Liuwudian port area will become the important port for cross-strait three links in Xiamen. Based on physical model
experiment，flow and sediment studies along port area are carried out on the different projects. The results show that the
programming coastal lines will impact Tong'an Bay little and the projects are feasible，which can provide scientific foundation
for the coastline design of Liuwudian port area.
