With large scale and deep water development of seaports, nowadays they should be located at the site with deeper
water near waterfront and abroad area on land. For the shortage of deep coastline recourses, this paper discusses a new
development approach for seaport with narrow landside area by means logistics corridors to expand the port economic activities.
It is demonstrated that the new model can reduce the cost of logistics effectively and promote the regional economic development.
