Based on the stress relationship at a point on a curved spatial surface, and the differential equilibrium equations for  forces and moment on the soil column from the curved spatial surface to the surface of a slope，an applicable method for  stability analysis of three-dimensional slope is developed with only one hypothesis. Some problems in the application of this  method are discussed. The calculated results show that the results are reasonable and the method is widely applicable.
