| Based on physical model tests of an open sea LNG receiving terminal, utilizing the domestic advanced equipmentsand test methods, including an L-type wave generator which is the first and could also absorb secondary reflection waves in
China, the combined action of winds, waves and currents on mooring ships are simulated and the response of mooring forces
and impact forces of large LNG ships to the three kind loads of winds, waves and currents are analyzed. By optimizing the layout
of mooring dolphins and the mooring arrangement, the mooring conditions could meet the LNG ship mooring safety requirements,
which provides references for the design and operation of engineering projects.
