This paper describes the innovative key technologies for installation of semi circular elements by using crane barges
according to the structural characteristics of semi-circular structures and working conditions of this project. Thanks to the
innovated key technologies，problems in installation of semi-circular elements for the arc section of a breakwater were resolved
and it also provides references for similar projects.
