The paper introduces the existing status and development trend of tug boats for port oerations，analyzes and
compares the calculation methods of tug boat collocation specified by relevant associations at home and abroad，and presents
the statistics graphs of tug boat collocation in a number of ports around the world, which may be used as references for the design
of tug boat collocation in China忆s ports.
