Take the construction of the new shallowly buried section of Qinjia忆ao Tunnel in the railway project at Central
South of Shanxi as an example，this paper describes the construction technology for the shallowly buried section from the key
control of pre-support，excavation，support，monitoring and measurement of inverted arch，and advance geological fore原
cast, etc.，and rationally adjusted the excavation and supporting parameters，the shallow buried construction of tunnel should
follow the principle of “pipe in ahead, short drilling footage，strengthening the support，early closing，frequent measure原
ment, and timely lining”，effectively ensuring the safe and speedy building of the tunnel and providing experiences and refer原
ences for the follow-up shallow buried sections and similar projects.
