Abstract：This paper introduces the safety problems which should be considered in design，implementation and appliance of
the impressed current cathodic protection system in explosive gas environment，providing valuable reference for anti-corrosion
practice of steel pipe piles for oil product wharfs and liquid chemical product wharfs, and also raises the main problems in the
protection system at present.
