This paper introduces the use of the new PTC covering anticorrosion technology in the most seriously corroded areas
based on the traditional corrosion protection method after the original anti-corrosion system for the steel pipe pile for the approach
trestle and the wharfs in Mauritania Friendship Port reached the design useful life. By effective combination of the coating，
PTC covering，sacrificial anode cathodic protection，it solves the coating repairing problem in tidal zone and marine
splash zone which is the serous corrosion part of the steel pile，ensures the protection effect longer，more comprehensive and
more effective. After the implementation of the project，the protection potential results show that the protection effect of the steel
pipe pile is good and the design and construction are reasonable.
