Abstract:Based on the study of foreign literatures in the related fields,these papers starts from the dredging mechanism,
estimates the overflow rate and overflow density through the mud system dynamic modeling and makes a quantitative analysis
of overflow loss,which is then verified with the measured data,showing good results. The overflow loss is essential to the
decision making and automation of a dredger,and it also provides a theoretical basis for development of effective dredging
decision-making software
