Abstract：Related technical parameters were calculated for the process of launching caissons via a ramp way on to a barge，
with which，a reasonable match was made for caisson transportation vessel performance parameters，prefabricated yard pa原
rameters and the tide tables etc. Then technical data and safety control points for caisson launching were determined to ensure
the safety of caisson launching.
