Abstract：Taking the optimization of foundation treatment design for Boumedienne new airport in Alger as an example, soft
soil treatment of the apron area is analyzed and the soft soil was treated separately according to different geological conditions
and the physical properties of soil. A more cost-effective and appropriate optimization scheme was used，thus reducing the
project cost and shortening the project duration.
