Analyzing the factors affecting bearing capacity of vertical bored piled by comparing overseas bored pile static load
test results. The results show that the stress release of soil，pile smoothness（especially the pile shaft skin surface） and soft原
ening of highly weathered saturated SHALE layer are the main factors for affecting the bearing capacity of the pile.
