In special situations,the shored mechanically stabilized walls are conscripted choose. The stress distribution and
deformation features of a shored mechanical stabilized wall in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area are numerical modeled and
parameter analyzed using Plaxis software. The results show that there is a displacement sudden change between shored
mechanically stabilized fill and the retained soils;the largest horizontal displacement locates in a little more lower than the
middle of the shored mechanically stabilized wall height,the shape of the displacement in the vertical direction seems as a
drum;when some of the goegrid joining with anchor rod,the tension and deformation of the geogrid are different from that
without anchor rod,and the reinforcement effect is closer to one designed normally.
