This article introduces the construction technology of diaphragm wall structure & cofferdam for application in
Hambantota Port and discusses in detail in terms of construction，monitoring. The port applies diaphragm wall structure & cof原
ferdam to form dry construction condition. Basin excavation and pier building form marine port in the dry foundation. Under
the condition，the marine port makes a great success. Dry construction is feasible to the construction of marine port and pro原
vides a reference for future applications of the technology.
