Comparing with conventional wharfs built along shorelines，the wharf and breakwater for Hongshan thermal power
plant are located in an area with very poor wave and tidal conditions and are very difficult to construct. The project department
uses some key technology and correspondingly takes control measures according to the difficulties, and overcomes the poor weather conditions, and takes use of every tide period suitable for construction，and finally finishes the project on schedule.
