Design of piled foundations is one of the main contents of piled wharf designs. Adopting the suitable pile types and
pile structures to coordinate the relation between the pile and soil is necessary. After a pile type is selected，the pile structure
can be optimized reasonably to improve the ratio of performance to price，if necessary. The optimization measures can not only
reduce the pile cost，but also not increase too much construction difficulty. Based on this，a discussion is carried out in this
paper and three solutions are proposed.
